AutoCAD 24.2

AutoCAD is a software program developed by Autodesk. It is most commonly used for two-dimensional design and drafting. Features include complex design drawing creation, layer-based and shaded design, integrated magnetic or paper drafting tools, and a feature-rich command line and API (application programming interface) builder. It can produce plots, charts, surface, polyline, polygon, and polyhedra model files.

Getting started with AutoCAD

You can download a free 30-day trial of AutoCAD from the Autodesk website. This will let you use the AutoCAD product for a limited number of uses before you decide to buy a license.

You will need a valid license key to create, edit, or access AutoCAD files. Download a trial or purchase a license from the

Support for an API also allowed developers to develop plugins for AutoCAD Free Download. The AutoLISP, Visual LISP, VBA,.NET and ObjectARX APIs have been deprecated in favour of the ObjectARX API.

AutoCAD’s DXF format supports the creation of native or third-party applications. Drawing exchange files are supported by third-party applications and manufacturers.

One of the most important areas of development in AutoCAD is not its functionality, but rather its ability to be useful and functional as an enterprise product. The AutoCAD 2010 product line supports new capabilities designed to reduce the total cost of ownership of AutoCAD 2010.

AutoCAD is used for the following types of products:
2D drafting and design
3D drafting and design
Civil engineering, architectural and MEP design
Mechanical design
Site planning and analysis
Structural analysis
Electrical design
Network design

AutoCAD 2010

AutoCAD 2010 was announced on April 25, 2009, by Autodesk. Among the new features of AutoCAD 2010 are improved interoperability with other Autodesk products, such as AutoCAD Map 3D, AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD X or Revit, and streamlined data management, particularly through improved file import and export capabilities. The product is considered to be an “evolutionary step” rather than a “revolutionary” update.

AutoCAD 2010 debuted with AutoCAD 2010 installation software and a host of new tools. The first upgrade to AutoCAD 2010 was made available on December 2, 2009, but Autodesk has indicated that there may be a limited window of availability.

The new release has three architecture levels: Professional, Architectural and Designer.

“Professional” version – AutoCAD 2010 PROFESSIONAL includes all core AutoCAD features, including:
Dynamic input
Project Server
Dynamic input
Type Control
Civil 3D
Data Management

Solution for Collaboration

“Architectural” version – AutoCAD 2010 ARCHITECTURAL includes all the core features of AutoCAD 2010 and adds:

What’s New in the?

Add design comments to your drawings without saving them first. AutoCAD 2023 includes tools for adding comments to all AutoCAD layers, including those in images, and the ability to synchronize comments in multiple layers.

Speed up the process of uploading data to AutoCAD in the cloud. Easily send large drawings and 3D models to the cloud, and add feedback into the cloud through a feature called Markup Import. For example, send the latest state of a shared model, then incorporate your feedback in AutoCAD, where it’s automatically updated in the cloud.

Add your feedback into drawings and models that are in the cloud with Markup Assist. Place comments on layers and sublayers, for instance, on floor plans or assembly drawings that are already shared in the cloud.

Add annotative text to floor plans and other images, as well as write text directly into drawings in markup languages like DXF, DWG, and SLD. Add comments directly to parts in drawings. Easily write across multiple drawings and layers to maintain a single thread of thought.

Powerful right-click menus for commenting and annotating. Use AutoCAD’s powerful right-click menus to comment on specific parts in drawings, share your comments with the people you work with most, or create a shortcut to comment on a layer or sublayer.

Optimized performance:

Move the thinnest line with just a few mouse clicks. The new continuous line tool combines AutoCAD’s drawing tools into a continuous, uninterrupted line.

Extend the capability of the dynamic type tools to better manage and create large graphics.

Easily access your drawing files and data. Introducing the FastFind feature, which allows you to access documents, drawings, and models.

Support for a wide range of drawing types:

Add a drawing type button to the context menu to easily load your most commonly used drawing types.

Simplify the interface to make it easier to use. Many drawing and command prompts have been consolidated and streamlined.

To support the new drawing type feature, the command line interface has also been updated.

AutoCAD Wireframe Mapping, SLD, PDF Files, and More:

Allow multiple views on the same object. Use multiple views to quickly explore a drawing or model.
