Some of the major releases include:

Used with computers running the CP/M operating system.

Converted to the Windows platform, and introduced AutoCAD LT to the market. It is possible to use AutoCAD LT to edit files in DXF, DWG, and DWF (popular with graphic artists). AutoCAD LT was originally targeted at users with lower computing power and lower price points than AutoCAD but was gradually expanded over time.

Introduced the “New Feature Paint Style”, which allows users to switch between styles within a single drawing without opening up the drawing in the “Draw” or “Edit” screens.

Introduced the “Solid Editing”, a feature that allows users to edit a drawing in “Edit” mode and then automatically switches to “Design” mode to make edits and work without erasing and re-drawing all objects.

Introduced the “Polar Grid” system that is used for map projections, geographical grids and polar graphs.

Introduced the “Underlay” option in “Edit” mode that allows users to specify a plane that appears on top of the drawing when it is viewed in 3D (in later versions of AutoCAD the “Underlay” option is found in the “View” menu, but was formerly found in the “Edit” menu).

Introduced “Polar Tracker”, which allows users to draw the outline of a plot on a map.

Introduced the “Auto-Snap” feature that allows users to automatically snap objects in the drawing when edges of the object touch the drawing edges.

Introduced the “3D Wireframe” function, which allows users to automatically create wireframes for a 3D drawing.

Introduced the “Edit Templates” feature, which allows users to create and manage custom templates in their drawings.

AutoCAD [Latest 2022]

A drawing comprises layers, objects (parts), families and parameters. Each of these is represented by a Class.

Classes are organized in folders (documents). Classes are usually named with the root word, followed by a folder number. Class names can contain letters, numbers, spaces and underscores. There are four classes for lines: AnchoredLine, BezierLine, CursorLine, and NonAnchoredLine. The first two correspond to Lines, and the latter two correspond to Lines not anchored in the originating layer. Lines have three attributes: dimension, arrow, and dashStyle. There are nine classes for arcs: Arc, ArrowheadArc, CursorArc, DashCircleArc, EndArrowheadArc, StraightArrowheadArc, DashPieArc, DashSquareArc, and DashTriangleArc. There are nine classes for curves: Arch, Dash, DashCircle, DashLine, DashPie, DashRect, DashSquared, DashTriangle, and DashTriangleCircle. There are three classes for shapes: Block, DashSquare, and DashTriangle. There are two classes for shapes of different dimensions: DashSquare and DashTriangle. There are two classes for solids: Block and Capsule.
There are three classes for texts: DropShadow, Text, and UserText. Text supports subclasses for different text styles, the first four being Bold, Italic, Underline, and Strikeout. Fonts are associated with Lines, and sometimes with other objects, as well. Layers and objects are associated with one or more fonts. Text styles are applied to lines and arcs (but not to curves, which have a special text style called TextDatum). The Text family is also used for line and arc labels. There is a DropShadow family, which is used for highlighting and shading. There are two text styles which are hidden in the Text family: Line and Text, and Strikeout and Paragraph. Line is used to create text labels which appear on the layer. Text and Strikeout are used for text which does not appear on the layer. Text and Strikeout are used for text which appears on the layer in front of objects which have a more prominent type.
There are three families for blocks: Dash, Block, and BlockShading. The Dash family contains the DashCircle, DashSquare, and DashTriangle classes. The Block family contains Block, CapBlock, and CapBlockShading. The

how to create a txt file in a location where Windows 7 won’t show it?

I need to create a file in a location which Windows 7 won’t show it. I want to create a txt file with a single string “hi” but somehow it won’t show it and that’s really weird. If I rename the file it will be shown. If I create a txt file with any extension it will show.
Is there a way to create it in a location where Windows won’t show it? I am on Windows 7.

You can change the hidden flag. You will need to be a member of “Administrators” in order to do so. In Explorer, you can do it by right-clicking and selecting Properties.
